Job Description

Position: Acupuncturist (Independent Contractor)

Position Description: Responsible for providing acupuncture services to clients at The Healing Heart Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide acupuncture services to clients as scheduled by the HHC staff
Assist clients in understanding the services offered at The Healing Heart Center
Consult the client about their medical history and the reason for their visit
Give advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep exercise and diet to improve clients physical health
Create a plan of care that focuses on the clients overall health and wellbeing
Clean and organize treatment rooms between clients; includes sterilizing equipment and replenishing supplies
Comply with HIPAA privacy requirements and processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Licensed by the state of Iowa in Acupuncture
