Exciting Opportunity: Recovery Coordinator

Are you experienced skilled and passionate about making a meaningful difference We are recruiting for a Recovery Coordinator to engage and assess our service users ensuring they receive timely personalised interventions that cater to their unique needs.

With this role youll be working as part of the Criminal Justice Team. The team supports people with their drug and/or alcohol issues.

Where: Sunderland

Part Time Hours: 30 per week

Actual Salary: 22289..88per year dependent on experience

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31^st December 2025

Heres what youll be doing:

As a valued member of our team in Sunderland youll be taking on a central role with responsibilities including:

• Offering support to service users from the point of entry into the service throughout their treatment journey.
• Conducting screening assessment and developing recovery plans with onward referrals.
• Minimising harm related to drug and alcohol use for both the individual and the wider community.
• Advocating access to partnership services.
• Collaborating with each individual to facilitate social (re)integration empowering them to lead meaningful lives emphasising recovery resilience peer support and selfdetermination.

To thrive in this role were looking for someone who:

• Demonstrates a solid understanding of substance misuse issues and has experience in this or a related field.
• Possesses excellent communication skills both verbal and written coupled with proficient IT skills.
• Takes a proactive approach working well independently with strong time management and ability to prioritise work.
• Holds a good working knowledge of mental health interventions services and best practices.
• Is a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills capable of working collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals agencies and internal/external stakeholders.
• Can successfully manage change while prioritising the needs of those who use our service.
• Actively seeks learning opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills contributing to the learning and development of others.

Fulltime hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For parttime roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
