The Administrative Assistant for the Department of Simulation will support the daytoday operations of the Clinical Skills and University Simulation Centers. The incumbent will provide a broad range of professional support tasks needed to achieve program goals. Tasks including but not limited to: prepare gather track and research all documentation needed for department accreditation processes; ensure all accreditation requirements are documented and processed in accordance with established timelines; maintain calendars; and assist with preparation and submission of grant applications. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree and 2 years of relevant administrative experience required.
Excellent customer service skills proficiency with Microsoft office suite utilities (Outlook Excel PowerPoint Word) and attention to detail required. Exceptional judgement and discretion in interacting with healthcare providers senior administrators department staff and intra and extramural clients required. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently effectively prioritize them and meet deadlines and schedules required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
Exceptional problemsolving skills
Experience with technical management preferred. Experience in healthcare setting or educational setting a plus. Administrative experience in an academic or healthcare setting preferred.
