Our software engineers develop the nextgeneration technologies that change how billions of users connect explore and interact with their finances. Our products need to handle data on a massive scale. As a core team participant youll estimate engineering efforts design your changes implement and test your changes push to live production environments and triage production issues. We need our engineers to be versatile display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic about tackling new problems across the entire stack as we push technology forward.
With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities deadlines and deliverables. In addition you will design develop test deploy maintain and enhance software solutions.
Job Duties
Work on complex issues where analysis requires an indepth evaluation of the problem constraints available resources and potential solutions.
Exercise good judgment in selecting methods techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Actively participate in system architecture discussions and technical design reviews to ensure scalability reliability and security.
Write highquality product or system development code using a CI/CD approach.
Thoughtfully review code developed by other engineers and provide constructive feedback to ensure ongoing learning and the use of software development best practices.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them by analyzing the issues source and impact on hardware network or service operations and quality.
Mentor coach and support engineers on the team with a strong focus on feedback and growth.
Contribute to existing documentation and educational content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Help build and maintain a worldclass technology system so we can achieve our mission of empowering the world to be financially strong.
Basic Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
5 years experience with software development in one or more programming languages with data engineering preferred
3 years of experience testing maintaining or launching data products and
1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Ability and willingness to collaborate with key stakeholders outside ones area of expertise
Experience using Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery PubSub Dataflow and VertexAI.
Deep technical expertise and proficiency in ETL pipelines messaging systems relational databases data warehousing and ML pipelines
Advanced Job Requirements (not required)
Masters Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related technical fields
Compensation
The expected ontarget earnings (OTE) which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation such as bonus or commissions is currently $132500 to $159000. This pay range is just one component of MXs total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay including job and level they are hired into location skillset peer compensation.
