Requirements
MustHave Qualifications:
- Proven experience creating custom WordPress themes and modifying existing ones.
- Experience developing or customizing WordPress plugins to expand functionality.
- Proficiency in PHP MySQL HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and jQuery in WordPress development.
- Experience working with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and debugging in WordPress environments.
- Understanding of WordPress REST API and experience with custom integrations.
GoodtoHave Skills:
- Experience with custom post types and taxonomies to organize site content.
- Knowledge of writing custom WordPress hooks functions and actions.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce or other ecommerce platforms.
- Experience implementing WordPress security and performance optimization techniques.
- Understanding of common security vulnerabilities in WordPress and how to address them.
- Experience in applying SEO best practices to WordPress sites.
