Job Description Summary
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Oakland University (OU) invites applicants to join our faculty as a full time Special Instructor in Electrical Engineering starting in August 2019. Applicants must have earned either an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Teaching with commitment to excellence and dedication to university and professional service is required. Preference will be given to applicants who evidence of the ability to successfully teach and develop courses and laboratories in introductory electrical engineering topics for undergraduate and lowerdivision graduate classes. Favorable consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate the ability and commitment to working with students and faculty through our summer programs and workshops. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion. OU is at the intellectual center of the Automotive Industry adjacent to the Oakland Technology Park and within the Oakland County Automation Alley. OU offers an exemplary fringe benefit package. The ECE Department has 18 faculty members and offers BSE MS and Ph.D. programs with research and teaching.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have earned either an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
