Job Description

About: 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the first National TwelveBell Striking Contest which was held at St Mary Redcliffe in 1975. The National TwelveBell Striking Contest is the principal change ringing striking competition in the UK. The competition is broadcast and is the leading event in the communitys calendar.

Roles and Responsibilities: Stewarding: You will be responsible for ticket scanning answering questions about the event and ensuring that you give clear directions and help anyone who needs them. You will also be expected to have excellent customer service skills throughout the day.

  • Ensure tickets are scanned correctly and help with any technical issues

  • You will welcome the public giving assistance and directions as needed

  • Give information about the event to members of the public

  • Be friendly approachable and helpful to all attendees



Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • You must have previous customer service stewarding or similar experience

  • Enthusiastic polite and confident

  • A loud voice will be handy

  • A good level of spoken English

  • A love of working in the great outdoors!

Candidate requirements:

  • You must be an Irish or British resident or have the right to work in the UK

  • You must be able to provide at least two references from previous employers
