Job Description:
Hire Resolves leading Client are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Resource Geologist to join their mining team in the North West region of South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting geological data to estimate mineral reserves carrying out resource modeling and assessment and providing recommendations for optimal resource extraction. The Resource Geologist will work closely with exploration geologists engineers and mine planners to develop and implement mining plans that maximize resource recovery and mining efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate 3D geological models using industrystandard software.
- Perform grade estimation geostatistical analysis and block modeling for accurate resource estimates.
- Execute geostatistical workflows including EDA variography and QKNA for model validation.
- Communicate geological insights through formal reviews and highlight value creation opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with SAMREC codes ISO:17025 standards and support Mineral Resource reporting.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Sc. Honours Geology
- 5 years postgraduation experience in a resource geology
- Registered with GSSA / SACNASP
- Excellent geological 3D software skills
Benefits:
