Cabin Counselor Activity Specialist
CampHire Overnight Summer Camps Nationwide Mid June to mid August
Overview
CampHire is recruiting cabin counselors to work at premier overnight summer camps throughout the United States. We have specialist positions open in sports boating lifeguarding arts theater music and more!
This is a residential camp position that requires relocation during the summer. Travel costs and onsite housing provided.
If you are passionate about working with youth this is the job for you! Counselors split time between leading activities and daily bunk responsibilities. Have a special skill We want to talk to you! We are seeking specialists in following area:
- Sports including Baseball Softball Basketball Soccer Lacrosse
- Tennis
- Archery
- Swim Instructors/Lifeguards
- Waterski/Wakeboard Instructors
- Sailing
- Ropes Course / Adventure Specialist
- Outdoor Exploration
- Nature Specialist
- Arts & Crafts
- Theater
- And more!
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead activities for campers of all abilities.
- Create programs to suit the needs of different age groups including small children.
- Supervise care for and mentor campers under your charge
- Partner with cocounselors to create a fun and safe environment for campers.
- Plan creative events and lead daytoday bunk activities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with youth preferred
Compensation & Perks
$2500 to $3500 per summer based on experience and background. Housing provided in shared cabins with campers. Travel costs paid for by most camps and all meals included.
