This recruitment willestablishan eligibility list for current and future vacancies for park tech positions. The eligibility list will be active for six months.This eligibility list may be used to fill multiple positions with different schedule requirements.
The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District THPRD seeks a Park Tech to keep our parks and athletic facilities looking to the high standards our community expects. Our parks and fields are wellused by the community and wellmaintained by our professional employees in the maintenance operations department.
ThePark Techperforms a variety of dutiesin the area ofpark and outdoor athletic facility maintenance.
Duties include equipment operation plant health practices turf management practices irrigation repair playground safety inspection athletic field and court maintenance integrated pest management reporting of conditions and other work as required.
This position assumes a consistent weekly schedule with early mornings.

The completion of the twelfth grade or equivalent worklife experience and one 1 year of experience in park and athletic facility maintenance including the operation of commercial landscape equipment and mowers.
Licenses and Certifications:
Mustmaintaina valid Oregon Drivers License andgood drivingrecord
Current Pesticide Applicator License issued by the State of Oregon is(within 6 months of hire)
Current first aid and CPR certification preferred
