Job Description
Are you an experienced Electrical Draughtsman with a background in switchgear design We are hiring on behalf of a leading company in the electrical engineering sector that is looking for a skilled professional to join their dynamic team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD or similar software
- Develop wiring diagrams schematics and layout drawings for LV & MV switchgear
- Work closely with Engineers to ensure accurate design implementation
- Maintain and update technical documentation in compliance with industry standards
- Assist with project planning and coordination with production teams
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman ideally in the switchgear industry
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar drafting software)
- Good understanding of electrical systems wiring and switchgear components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills
