Investor Reporting Specialist I

Pay Range: $18.50$22.00/hour

At Midland States Bank base salary is one component of our Total Rewards program. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education skills internal equity and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of shortterm incentives (i.e. bonus and/or commission) and may include longterm incentives (i.e. stock awards). Position Summary

This position falls within Investor Reporting a Loan Administration unit. The Investor Reporting Specialist I has a good understanding of all the operational tasks assigned to this unit and as is able to execute basic and reoccurring less complex tasks with minimal assistance. This individual will assist and provide support as needed in order to foster and sustain a strong team environment.

Primary Accountabilities

• Capably handles basic and reoccurring less complex tasks tied to investor servicing and reporting which includes the following:
  • Daily and monthly remittances
  • Portfolio reconciliation
  • Monthly reporting
  • Transfer of held for sale loans to servicing
  • Custodial account reconcilement research & resolution
• Competently handles the tasks tied to supporting the GNMA multifamily servicing team.
• GL Reconciliation.
• Processes all Serviced Released transactions and Goodbye letters.
• Scans files and refiles reports and documents in the banks imaging system as related to investor reporting tasks performed.
• Processes loan payments mailed to St. Louis.
• Good understanding of all regulatory and legal guidelines pertaining to job duties.
• Meets all guidelines surrounding all assigned functions.
• Escalates complex and oneoff transactions.
• Observes all security privacy and compliance requirements.
• The role requires occasional travel for training and team meetings and willingness to travel periodically to locations within market as needed.
• May require work in a Midland office to ensure collaboration and support of internal and external customers.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Associates Degree with 13 years relevant banking experience.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and use new software and programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
