Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40Gundersen Health System is looking to add a Prior Authorization Specialist DME to our team!
Are you a champion for patient care Do you find satisfaction in helping others access the medical equipment they need to live healthy lives Join our team as a Prior Authorization Specialist and make a difference!
In this role You will:
- Secure prior authorizations for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) acting as a liaison between patients physicians and insurance providers.
- Navigate complex insurance regulations and advocate for patients needs
- Process paperwork effectively and efficiently to ensure all documentation is completed
- Maintain strong communication both verbally and written
Whats Available:
- Full time 1.0 FTE 40 hours/ week
- MondayFriday hours between 7:30am4:30pm
- This is an OnSite position in La Crosse WI
- Starting pay of $19.52/hour more for experience!
What Youll Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 34 years experience in healthcare with insurance or prior authorization experience.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
