THE PROGRAM

Were looking for students to join our CoOp Program who believe that sound is power. Over the 6month coop you will get the opportunity to apply the skills you learned in the classroom with handson work experience. Our CoOps will get to network across the business to understand different perspectives at Bose. Youll connect with other CoOps and colleagues to grow your network for the future!

THE ROLE

Were looking for an Industrial Design CoOp to join the Product Design team and contributing to bringing Boses innovative products to life.

As an Industrial Design CoOp you will:

• Collaborate with Designers Researchers Engineers and Product Managers as you contribute to development programs.
• Ideate through sketch CAD and Keyshot renders
• Present design work during design crit to strengthen concept directions and communication skills
• Develop CAD for model making through our Industrial Design model Shop
• Create onbrand presentations that bring concept visions to life
• Deliver a compelling project presentation
• Track and communicate project status
• Manage workload and meeting deadlines
• Partner with ID CMF and UX designers on deliverables for products in development

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role you should:

• Have a degree in Industrial Design and a strong interest in consumer electronics.
• Exhibit strong design thinking ability with keen ability to adapt design process to the challenge at hand.
• Be able to quickly and effectively articulate ideas utilizing visual written and verbal communication skills.
• Excel at form ideation and refinement
• Thrive in an environment that requires adapting to new information throughout the development process.
• Have the ability to work collaboratively on teams with diverse expertise and perspectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS in Industrial Design (completed or pursuing)
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite CAD (NX or SolidWorks preferred) MS Office
• Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities demands and timelines
• Motivation to produce and improve highquality deliverables
• Strong attention to detail and organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment
