Konik is partnering with a local industrial equipment manufacturer seeking a Quality Control Manager. TheQuality Control Manager will oversee QC activities for microelectronics capital projects in a fabrication shop environment. This leadership role ensures products meet customer requirements with minimal rework or delays as well as leading a team of three.
Quality Manager Responsibilities:
Lead quality control for microelectronics products ensuring compliance with requirements.
Develop and maintain quality control plans inspection test plans and inspection schedules.
Oversee inspections manage nonconformance reports and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Ensure health and safety compliance for QC team members and inspectors.
Drive process and efficiency improvements.
Review and approve build documentation and contractor documents.
Collaborate with project teams suppliers and contractors to uphold quality standards.
Manage personnel including hiring training performance reviews and scheduling.
Quality Manager Qualifications:
7 years of QC experience preferably with steel vessels and/or microelectronics.
Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.
Expertise in ISO 9001 requirements and internal auditing.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Experience with corrective and preventive action programs.
Proven leadership in QC within microelectronics engineering firms or general contracting.
Expereince with welding or inspecting welds is a huge plus
