Job Description
What success looks like in this role:
- Maintain monitor and troubleshoot within the roles of Incident Management (ReturntoService) Problem Management (Reason for Outage) and Change management.
- Work with engineering department to develop customer and device specific knowledge base.
- Maintaining design documents for all network infrastructure.
- Meet and exceed customer SLA or OLA metrics.
- Work with third party vendors to remediate and resolve customer issues.
- Remotely support customers and/or onsite technicians test and turnups of WAN and LAN equipment.
- Perform fault isolation and resolution in a methodical and thorough manner in accordance with SLA.
- Mentor Tier 1 engineers

You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Minimum 6 years of technology experience in networking environment.
- ITIL foundation knowledge and certification.
- Handson experience in working with the following:
- Cisco routers Catalyst switches Nexus switches WLCs & Meraki devices
- HP Aruba switches routers & WLCs
- SD WAN Silver peak Velo cloud etc.
- Good level of understanding on the virtualization concepts.
- Knowledge on Public Clouds like Azure AWS Google
- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
- Handon experience with routers switches wireless controllers. (Cisco Aruba and Meraki)
- Proficient with standard troubleshooting practices and methodologies.
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
- Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
- A selfstarter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
- Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Dependable and flexible when necessary.
