An exciting new opportunity has been made available for a Band 8a Psychologist to join our esteemed NHS clients dynamic team in Lewes Sussex. This role is for a Clinical Psychologist Forensic Psychologist or a Counselling Psychologist. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a shortterm contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.
What will your responsibilities be
Within this role you will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service. You will join a supportive and experienced team consisting of support workers occupational therapist and 2 Assistant Psychologists. The mental health team on site a psychologically minded and have brought in many new practices including the use of AI and offer compassion focused therapy sessions following trauma informed practice.

Qualifications and Experiences:
- Full HCPC registration
- Proven postqualification professional experience in Clinical/ Forensic or Counselling Psychology
- Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients
- Experience working with psychological Trauma
- Excellent communication skills
- Team Player
