partner staffing on behalf of ourClient we are seeking an experienced and detailoriented ProjectCoordinator & Lead Land Analystbased in the Grande Prairie office to manage land access regulatorycompliance and stakeholder engagement for projects across the UpstreamMidstream Power and Renewable Energy sectors. With a primary focus on Albertaand British Columbia this role involves leading crossfunctional teams andensuring successful project from initiation to completion.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate multiple land access and permitting projects.
- Develop and manage project schedules budgets and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are executed on time and within scope while meeting regulatory requirements.
Land Management & Analysis:
- Manage land acquisition agreements and tenure processes for project development.
- Conduct landuse analysis GIS mapping and landowner engagement.
- Analyze land titles rights and encumbrances to ensure compliance.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement:
- Liaise with landowners Indigenous communities government agencies and thirdparty stakeholders.
- Obtain required permits and approvals from regulatory bodies.
- Support environmental assessments and regulatory applications.
Leadership & Team Collaboration:
- Mentor and lead junior land analysts and project staff.
- Collaborate with engineering environmental and regulatory teams to align land strategies.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of experience in land coordination project management or regulatory analysis.
- Proven experience in the Upstream Midstream Power and Renewable Energy sectors in Western Canada particularly Alberta and British Columbia.
- Strong understanding of land acquisition permitting processes and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with GIS mapping land use assessments and environmental considerations.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Land Management Environmental Science Project Management or a related field.
- Professional designation (e.g. PLM PMP) is an asset.
- Familiarity with Indigenous consultation processes and engagement strategies.
