$18 $22 an hour
JobType: Fulltime nonexempt
Pay: $1822 hourly dependent on experience.
Hours: MondayFriday 8 AM 5 PM
Job Description:
As a Carpenters Helper you will support our experienced Lead Carpenter in various tasks such as measuring cutting painting drywall finishing assembling selective demolition and installing materials. You will gain valuable experience in the trade and have opportunities to advance your skills and knowledge in carpentry.
Responsibilities:
Assist with basic carpentry and painting tasks including cutting measuring and fitting materials
Transport tools and materials to work sites
Maintain and clean tools and work areas
Follow safety guidelines and instructions from lead carpenters
Help with the assembly of wood structures and fixtures
Perform other duties as required by the project
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and materials
Ability to lift at minimum 50 lbs and carry heavy materials
Good physical condition and ability to work in a variety of environments (e.g. indoors outdoors on construction sites)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
Reliable punctual and willing to learn
Required:
Previous experience in construction general contracting or similar
Valid Drivers License
