Job Description
Are you a practical reliable and proactive individual looking for a rewarding role in a school environment Equal Education Partners is currently seeking a Supply School Caretaker to work at a Primary School in Swansea. This is an opportunity to support the school by maintaining a safe clean and functional environment for students and staff. Whether youre experienced in caretaking or simply looking for a new challenge wed love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the school including classrooms hallways staff areas and outdoor spaces.
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs to keep the school in top condition.
- Set up and clear areas for school events assemblies and activities.
- Ensure all school facilities are safe and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the schools heating lighting and security systems.
- Support the general upkeep of the school grounds including gardening and outdoor maintenance tasks.
- Work as part of a team with school staff to ensure smooth daytoday operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role (experience in schools is a plus but not essential).
- A practical handson approach to work with a strong attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of health and safety practices particularly in a school setting.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliable punctual and able to take initiative.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
