Pricing Analyst
Position Overview
We are in search of a skilled and seasoned Pricing Analyst to become a part of our Pricing and Reporting business unit for a crucial project in the Automobile industry. The ideal candidate will have a significant role in shaping pricing strategies for tires and services utilizing their strong analytical abilities and comprehensive understanding of pricing dynamics in the automotive market.
Responsibilities
- Competitive Pricing Analysis
- Conduct thorough analysis to establish competitive pricing strategies for tires and services within the automobile industry.
- Utilize market research competitive intelligence and internal data to recognize pricing trends customer preferences and market opportunities.
- Benchmarking and Web Sing
- Utilize advanced web sing techniques to collect pricing data from various online sources including competitor websites and industry platforms.
- Perform benchmarking analysis to compare our pricing strategies with competitors offerings across different geographical regions and customer segments.
- Regular Price Monitoring
- Implement a systematic approach to monitor and analyze competitor prices on a biweekly basis.
- Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to track pricing fluctuations and market trends.
Spot Checking Competitor Prices
- Conduct adhoc spot checks on competitor prices through web sing and other monitoring tools.
- Monitor pricing changes in realtime and provide timely updates to the pricing team and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics Statistics or related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing analysis market research or related roles preferably within the automobile industry.
