Are you a visionary sales leader ready to drive growth and shape the future of a toptier brand in the outdoor leisure industry As the Director of Sales youll be at the helm of our sales marketing and business development strategies across North America. In this highimpact role youll oversee daytoday sales account merchandising and customer development with a focus on sustainable revenue growth enhancing customer experiences and optimizing operational efficiency.
What Youll Do
- Develop Winning Strategies: Create and drive innovative business development strategies to meet brand category and account growth goals. Leverage industry insights to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead and Mentor: Inspire a national sales and merchandising team leading initiatives across business and product development omnichannel growth and daily operational .
- Enhance the Customer Journey: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to craft valueadded solutions that create lasting partnerships and an exceptional consumer experience.
- Drive Business Development: Partner with customers and analysts to provide actionable insights establish key KPIs and drive growth through trade shows and client visits.
- Product Management: Oversee the product catalog for national accounts leading product launches pricing and promotional strategies that ensure inventory optimization.
- A bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
- 710 years in Sales and Business Development management with 35 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in managing mass and national accounts with a strong background in Omnichannel growth.
- A datadriven leader who thrives on analyzing performance metrics and making impactful decisions.
- Experience in the outdoor industry is a plus.
- Exceptional team leadership communication and project management skills.
- Willingness to meet inoffice work requirements and comfortable with frequent travel within the US.
