What youll create and do
PwCs Tax professionals understand how businesses work from the inside. Our Private Company Services Core Reporting group practices across Canada and works closely with private companies to help solve business issues faced by shareholders and management using a multidisciplinary approach. From financial and compliance reporting to tax strategies and returns our team works to deliver longterm results that balance business and shareholder goals.
Our teams ask questions review assumptions and evaluate whether companies are reporting information upon which stakeholders can rely on. We combine accounting financial reporting and tax skills with business knowledge and experience to help our clients address the challenges of a rapidly changing environment and strengthen their businesses. As an Associate working towards your CPA designation youll be put at the heart of understanding how businesses operate. Utilizing leadingedge technology youll have the opportunity to work directly with private entities of all sizes in a variety of industries and in various stages of their life cycle. As a key member of the team youll be responsible for developing relationships with existing clients and forging new ones.
As your career progresses youll advise clients on intricate and complex operational financial reporting and taxation matters and collaborate with subjectmatter specialists to provide innovative solutions.

What youll bring to this role
Enrolled in or completed postsecondary education and working to obtain or have obtained all Canadian CPA prerequisite courses
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills; an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients
Share and collaborate effectively with others building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust
Ability to easily adapt and prioritize demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities

Youll be comfortable travelling to cities across Canada (when deemed safe to do so by applicable public health or regulatory authorities and PwC)
This role requires that you are legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract.
Wed love it even more if youre bilingual in English and French however this isnt a requirement.
