Job Description
Behavioral Health Associates are responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. Candidate must demonstrate a positive empathetic and professional attitude towards clients and recognize that patient safety is a top priority.This entrylevel position has opportunities to grow!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Include:
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety and provide excellent customer services.
- Complete and maintain required documentation. Assist with followup and paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place in the facility.
- Responsible for conducting safety checks and ensuring that supervision is conducted at 15 minute intervals as noted in special precautions or in accordance with individualized supervision guidelines as needed.
- Interact routinely with patients observe behaviors and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.
- May oversee or assist patients with activities of daily living including toileting bathing dressing grooming oral hygiene meals snacks hydration and changing bed linens.
- Facilitate patient educationalrehabilitative groups which cover a variety of topics including social skills coping skills anger management and independent living skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma required
- Detail oriented in both observation and application
- Teamoriented personality abilities and willingness
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Organizational skills proficient
- Relationalpeople skills excellent
- Telephone communication skills excellent
- Computer MS (Word & Excel) andexperience with electronic record keeping proficient
- Familiarity with 12step Recovery preferred
- RADT certification required (or to be acquired upon hire)

Position is located on campus in Calistoga CA.
Compensation for roles at Duffys Rehab varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location role skill set and level of experience.As required by local law Duffys Rehab provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California set forth below.

Calculated Hourly Range for role:
Pay Range: $23 per hourentry level
