About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and detailoriented Architectural Technologist to join our team. In this role you will work under a licensed architect providing an excellent opportunity to gain supervised experience and work toward your architectural designation. Your focus will be on residential projects ensuring compliance with building codes while delivering highquality designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to residential projects from design development through to construction

Create detailed construction drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.

Conduct research on building materials codes and construction methods.

Ensure compliance with building codes regulations and industry standards

Assist in project coordination and liaise with engineers contractors and clients.

Support the architect in design development permitting and construction administration.

Tasks:

Load unload and transport construction materials

Perform preoperational inspection

Read blueprints to determine work requirements

Assist in framing houses erecting walls and building roofs

Assist in demolishing buildings

Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction

Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Assist skilled tradespersons

Grease booms pulleys buckets and other components of heavy equipment

Utilize hand and power tools

2 years of experience in residential construction.

Proficiency 5 years) in CAD software (AutoCAD Revit etc. and other design tools (SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite).

Strong understanding of building codes and construction methods.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
