Job Description
Golf Club in Sun City Center Florida is Hiring!
Fulltime or parttime grounds workers needed for operating equipment and general golfcoursemaintenance. Competitive wages for golf course experience and those eager to learn. Preference given to those with spray tech irrigation repair and drainage experience. Must be available some weekends and holidays and ability to work in a wide range of weather conditions.We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and reliability.
Full Time & Part Time positions available immediately
Hourly based on experience and skillset
Some Weekends & Holidays required
Full time benefits available after 90 days probationary period: Health Dental Life Insurance Sickpay and Vacation pay.
Experience Requirements:
Valid Drivers License and minimum of oneyear experience working on a golf course or landscapingcrew.
You must be able to:
- Operate vehicles and powered equipment;such as greens mowers fairway units rough units tractors and twinaxle vehicles
- Care for established property by mulchingweeding or trimming
- Use hand tools such as shovels rakes pruning sawshedge or brush trimmer
- Gather and remove debris.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor.
- May be required to work in an environment that includes such activities as bending lifting stooping kneeling climbing reaching standing walking pushing pulling and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. May need to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- All other duties as assigned
Physical Factors:
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to five 5 hours without sitting
- Majority of the time may be outdoors exposed to such elements as heat rain wind and cold weather
