RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design develop test and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors quality control inventory control logistics and material flow cost analysis and production coordination.
- Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization.
- Review production schedules engineering specifications orders and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods procedures and activities.
- Estimate production costs cost saving methods and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review action and control.
- Draft and design layout of equipment materials and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer.
- Coordinate and implement engineering objectives activities or procedures to resolve production problems maximize product reliability or minimize costs.
- Observing receiving and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Identifying information by categorizing estimating recognizing differences or similarities and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
- Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program write software set up functions enter data or process information.
- Providing information to supervisors coworkers and subordinates by telephone in written form email or in person.
- Comply with all Safety Policies and Procedures
- Follow department specific work instructions
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles techniques procedures and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
- Knowledge of raw materials production processes costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Knowledge of arithmetic algebra geometry calculus statistics and their applications.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs uses repair and maintenance.
- Identifying the underlying principles reasons or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Keeping uptodate technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
- Compiling coding categorizing calculating tabulating auditing or verifying information or data.
- Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws regulations or standards.
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelors degree in an Engineeringrelated discipline preferred or combination of education and experience.
- Regular predictable attendance.
