Job Description
The OpsTech Solutions(OTS) DataTech is looking for a technically astute analytical and passionate teammate to join our team and deliver on behalf of our customers. This position will be responsible for realizing business value from the use of statistical methods to gather review and interpret data to solve realbusiness problems.
This role will collaborate with cross functional teams and partner with data leaders to drive and deliver business value for OTS across the globe. The candidate will have a primary focus in the driving the success of our Data as a Product strategy across a Centralized DataMarketplace. This individual will collaborate with their peer team members across the globe in supporting our Data as a Product strategy and Unified Reporting needs driving integration efforts within the Marketplace.
This role will be responsible for driving customer metrics and partnering with internal and crossfunctional teams of BIEs partnering with the central engineering team and business stakeholders to integrate and onboard data systems with the OTS DataMarketplace(ODM) backed by DataMesh architecture. The candidate will also be responsible for driving meta data enhancements and aiding in data quality efforts to better enable data discoverability and improve speed to insights for data driven decision making for their teammates and stakeholders.
This position requires positive thought leadership and ownership mentality background with data governance and application solutioning. They will require analytical mindset to come up with simple solutions that scale across their peers and stakeholders. The candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity capable of working in a fastpaced environment continuously improving technical skills to meet business needs possess strong attention to detail and be able to collaborate with customers to understand and transform business problems into requirements and deliverables.
Key job responsibilities
Support OTS Data Strategy through ODM:
Enables integration efforts with the OTS DataMarketplace furthering the Data as a Product strategy.
System Administrator of ODM
Support in create standard documents explaining the existing configuration of ODM
Manage Permissions and Policies
Develop and Manage Data:
Responsible for deploying new features in ODM. This include gathering requirement in partnership with Product Manager Collaborating with Atlan team to create development plan deploy it in dev UAT and promote to prod
Build standardized process for metadata management and documentation within our ODM.
Create integration workflows for ODM DaaP Infrastructure connections establish workflows and partner with peers to simplify data onboarding efforts.
Perform Data Analysis and ProblemSolving:
Work with BIE team to manage and own the Reporting Dashboards for ODM Metrics
Troubleshoot issues failed workflows of ODM
Research problems and identify data required to answer specific questions
Compare insights to identify patterns relationships and problems
Communicate Insights and Findings:
Prepare detailed reports for management and other departments
Analyze and interpret data to communicate findings to OTS business partners and stakeholders
Collaborate and Guide:
Guide proper development of data assets within the Marketplace ecosystem
Supervise data entry when necessary
Ensure Data Quality and Governance:
Ensure that the assets in ODM adhere to data tech defined standards. The assets in ODM are certified and have proper metadata
Implement best practices for data management
Contribute to data governance initiatives
Skills Needed:
Analytical: SQL/Python and dashboarding experience.
Application Management configuration integration support
Project/Program Management
Training and documentation Support.
Application/System administration support
Experience in building automations and enhancing application functionality for stakeholders and business units.

About the team
DataTech is a centralized organization with OpsTech Solutions under the Fulfillment Technology & Robotics org.
5 years of professional or military experience
5 years of SQL experience
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience programming to extract transform and clean large (multiTB) data sets
Experience building measures and metrics and developing reporting solutions
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience using Cloud Storage and Computing technologies such as AWS Redshift S3 Hadoop etc.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
Experience working as a BIE in a technology company
