An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Financial Administrator to join a vibrant entertainment companys finance team. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment and play a key part in managing crucial financial operations.

As a Financial Administrator you will responsible for the following:
  • Process and capture supplier invoice payments and petty cash reconciliations.
  • Ensure that banking documents (payments limit adjustments new payee setups and transfers) are prepared accurately and on time.
  • Monitor bank account balances to assess cash flow requirements and provide updates to the Financial Operations Manager.
  • Perform weekly bank account reconciliations.
  • Maintain proper filing of all banking documentation.
  • Ensure that payments are made in compliance with company policies.
  • Manage petty cash and process all related payments monthly.
  • Record journals monthly to prepare for monthend closing.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts for approval by the Financial Operations Manager.
  • Update the fixed assets module and run monthly depreciation.
  • Reconcile LPM and CEMS data report discrepancies and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Order stationery from approved suppliers as needed by the various departments.
  • Maintain and update the consumable stationery inventory spreadsheet monthly.
  • Verify that stock entries are posted to the general ledger and conduct stock counts as necessary.
  • Monitor staff usage of company assets and report any concerns or increased expenses.
  • Oversee cellphone usage report overuse to the user and HR for deductions and manage upgrades.
  • Ensure that fleet service and repair invoices are attached to the corresponding fleet reports.
  • Comply with internal and external policies and procedures to adhere to Gambling Board and other regulatory requirements.
  • Update the monthly BEE123 reports and assist with BEE audits.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • 23 years accounting administration / accounting processing experience
  • Bookkeeping Certificate at a minimum
  • Studying towards a Financial Management/Accounting qualification
  • General accounting knowledge
  • Fixed assets & inventory administration knowledge
