As Team Leader Data Science youll lead a team of focused individuals who work to advance the data science foundation. Youll implement the vision and direction for data science practices. Youll interact with teams from around the company and assist the Director of Data Science with creating best business data science practices.
About the role
- Query and summarize the massive data sets at our disposal to help drive business strategy
- Support the development of both internal and userfacing data products
- Apply statistics machine learning and neurolinguistic programming techniques to understand our monetization content and user behavior
- Use the wealth of historical data to predict the future of the internet (predictive analytics)
- Develop relationships between business area clients Business Intelligence and IT
- Work with team members to formulate current business processes into mathematical models
- Generate simulations and whatif analyses illustrating behavior in various scenarios and conditions
- Monitor performance of implemented solutions and perform recurring evaluations
- Pull and create reports necessary to carry out the functions of the team and for senior leadership as requested to track strategic goal accomplishment
- Communicate and embody the culture and mission of the company
- Lead and mentor the team on performance production and daytoday tasks
About you
- 3 years of experience in a related field
- 2 years of experience in management and administration
- Bachelors degree in computer science statistics or a related field
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in SQL noSQL and ElasticSearch
- Knowledge of natural language processing and machine learning
- Statistical analysis knowledge

Colorado New York City Jersey City California D.C and Washington candidates only: the salary range for this position is one hundred twentythree thousand five hundred dollars to two hundred seventyeight thousand five hundred dollars. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and other employmentrelated benefits including but not limited to medical dental and vision benefits 401K retirement plan and paidtime off.
