POSITION TITLE: HRIS Administrator & HR Generalist

POSITION SUMMARY:The HRIS Administrator & HR Generalistisresponsible for implementing maintaining and enhancing our HRIS with a focus on ensuring data integrity and scalability. The successful candidatesteers the implementation of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) ensuring strong crossfunction communication across stakeholders. He/she is responsible for conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance and support within the HR team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
HRIS & Record Keeping

  • Maintain optimal function of the HRIS through continuous development maintenance and upgrade to applications systems and modules; collaborate with HR/Payroll Team to identify needs and then recommend and implement solutions/best practices.
  • Schedule maintenance and testing of HRIS systems to determine more efficient process flows and system bottlenecks implementing upgrades and patches where necessary and documenting all HRIS system changes
  • Work with the HR team to define reporting requirements metrics and dash board; ensure that HRIS systems are set up in a manner that allows for accurate and complete data collection
  • Design userfriendly training sessions tutorials processes guidelines and documentation and ensure users understand their role in maintenance usage and optimization of the HRIS
  • Manage and update permissions access personalization and settings for HRIS users.
  • Ensure the security scalability reliability of HRIS including managing priorities and balancing demand in a rapidly changing environment
  • Manage ADP system process not limited to Benefit Open enrollment ACA reporting and ongoing policy acknowledgments.
Benefits
  • Administers the organizations benefits programs (e.g. leave policies wellness programs insurance policies etc.
    • In partnership with the HR team responsible for management of open enrollment renewal distribution processes and benefit record keeping.
    • Maintaining and auditing employee benefit records as to ensure accuracy and compliance
    • Helping employees address health dental HSA and other benefit claims
    • Monitoring employees benefit status for benefit eligibilities denials eligibility discontinuances and annual redetermination dates.
  • Partners with HR team to coordinate LOA with benefits including COBRA transfers
  • Working alongside the payroll professional regarding overseeing benefits deductions repayments and additions to the companys payroll system.
    • Maintaining and verifying data related to premium billing enrollment and deductions
Generalist
  • Provide basic support related to recruiting hiring performance management and training
  • Assists with preemployment process workflow which may include initiating assessments background checks and onboarding tasks.
  • Assist with special HR projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree preferred; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in HR with a focus on building effective HR systems; prior experience in compensation and benefits structures and systems a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and custom HRIS programs (pivot tables dashboard modeling etc.; prior HRIS implementation experience desired.
  • Project management skills including: organization prioritization and time management; ability to juggle shortterm and longerterm initiatives; ability to reprioritize accordingly to meet immediate needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions make recommendations and implement changes accordingly in a timely manner.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic changing work environment and work under strict deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work and accurately complete multiple tasks under minimal supervision and rigid time constraints.
  • Ability to explain ideas and concepts in a simplified manner: understand complex ideas in HR but they must be able to simplify and explain problems and solutions in terms everyone can understand.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact with a wide range of people from diverse experiences and cultures. Expresses ideas and thoughts verbally; exhibits good listening and comprehension. Keeps others adequately informed; selects and uses appropriate communication methods.
  • Exceptional ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality.
