Overview
Position:Physical Therapist Assistant Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 8429 Tuttle Ave Sarasota FL 34243
Schedule: Full Time Mon Fri with evening until 7pm
Compensation: Starting at $27/hr. Starting salary calculated by experience.
Incentives: $12000 sign on bonus PLUS Indefinite student Debt Benefit Program of $200/month
Select Physical Therapys outpatient center in Sarasota FL is now hiring a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).Join our clinical team of 1.5 PTs and 1 CHTs treating a general ortho caseload both nonsurgical and postop in addition to vestibular sports medicine hand therapy and fall prevention. We utilize a variety of evidencebased treatment and manual therapy techniques to create individualized treatment plans that help each patient achieve their specific goals.Calling all licensed Physical Therapist Assistants including newly licensed graduates APPLY! Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
- CPR Certification
