Quality Engineer

Konik is partnering witha local product development firm that drives innovative technologies from ideation to commercialization and is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a Quality Engineer that loves to be handson in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities. Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
- Follow the Quality Management System and ensure clear communication between engineering production and quality teams.
- Develop and implement robust inspection procedures including First Article Startup and InProcess inspections.
- Conduct sampling inspections and assist in training personnel on proper inspection techniques.
- Operate and program CMM MicroVu and Keyence vision systems.
- Prioritize inspection tasks in alignment with production schedules.
- Support process improvements and assist with calibration and documentation updates.
Quality Engineer Qualifications:
- Associates degree vocational training or equivalent experience.
- Technical training in inspection methods and equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of quality experience in an ISOregulated (ISO 9001 manufacturing environment (medical device manufacturing preferred ISO 13485.
- Experience in quality inspection and programming vision systems.
- Proficiency in GD&T blueprint reading and various inspection tools (calipers micrometers bore gauges profilometer etc..
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
