Anglian Water is seeking a dynamic and strategic Growth Development Manager to drive developer customer growth in the East of England and Hartlepool regions.
This pivotal role will oversee relationships and service management for national regional and local businesses that support housing and business expansion within our region.
This role blends clientfacing service with strategic planning requiring close collaboration with internal teams such as planning delivery strategy continuous improvement and marketing. If you thrive in a fastpaced environment and excel at building lasting client relationships this could be the perfect role for you.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and manage the account strategy to deliver industryleading services to Developer Customers ensuring 25000 new developments connect annually.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead relationships with key Developer Customers from initial contact to infrastructure delivery acting as the primary escalation point for issues.
Financial & Commercial Oversight: Oversee financial performance drive revenue growth and optimize service management processes.
Regulatory & Infrastructure Planning: Lead discussions on regulatory contracts infrastructure investment and planning to align with business needs.
DataDriven Improvement: Conduct business reviews analyse data and enhance services through continuous process improvements.
Team Leadership: Build and develop a highperforming service team setting objectives and managing performance.
CRM & Reporting: Ensure accurate data capture and reporting through CRM systems.
Industry Representation & Communication: Represent Anglian Water at industry events deliver impactful presentations and drive effective communication strategies.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work with Partner Account Managers and Commercial Operations teams to support infrastructure delivery and business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to identify and manage business opportunities. Strong leadership skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders are essential.
Experience in business development and account management within customer services.
Proven experience in Developer Services in the water industry or similar sector specifically experience and understanding of large commercial developers and NAV customers.
Strong commercial acumen with a focus on ensuring value for money
Proficiency in CRM tools and data analytics to drive strategic decisions.
Excellent communication negotiation and influencing skills.
Strategic thinking aligned with customer needs and business goals.
Ability to balance business objectives with financial and customer considerations.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
