The Radiologic Technologist Supervisor is responsible for performing radiology procedures and operating Xray equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers.
- Travels to other clinics as directed by Chief Technologist and/or Radiology Director.
- Processes room addon cases prior to scheduled cases.
- Uses equipment in compliance to all safety requirements.
- Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians employees and other departments.
- Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Supervisor responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification.
- One two years experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment.
- Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
EDUCATION
- Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification.
EXPERIENCE
- One two years experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment.
REQUIREMENTS
