Job Description
Estimator is responsible for accurately estimating costs and preparing quotes for new repair and refurbishment of ball screws used in various industrial applications. Work closely with customers suppliers and internal teams. Ensure timely and competitive pricing while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely quotes for ball screw repair services to customers
- Review customer inquiries and specifications to determine the scope of work required
- Estimate the cost of labor materials and equipment needed for each project
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure quotes are competitive and meet customer needs
- Maintain accurate records of all quotes and estimates
- Continuously improve the quoting and estimating process to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ball screw repair and maintenance
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detailoriented and able to work independently
