Job Description
Location: Singrauli Tehsil Sarai Madhya Pradesh (The Project site is approximately 300 Kms from Varanasi and 200 KM from Reva)
Reports To: Project Manager
Project: Construction of School and Hospital Building for Miners Children and Families
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Site Engineer to oversee the construction of a school and hospital facility in a rural area providing essential services to miners children and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site management be able to handle the unique challenges of rural development and ensure highquality standards safety and timely completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daytoday activities onsite ensuring that work progresses according to the approved plan and timeline.
- Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control across all aspects of the project.
- Manage all phases of the construction process from site preparation to final building handover.
- Ensure compliance with all local building codes regulations and safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve any issues with onsite design materials or methods.
- Manage resources including manpower materials and equipment to ensure efficient use and avoid delays.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials needed for construction.
- Promote a safe working environment and enforce adherence to safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries.
- Ensure the site complies with environmental guidelines and regulations particularly related to the rural setting.
Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer ideally in the construction of buildings.
- Prior experience working in rural or underserved areas is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes site management and building codes.
- Excellent communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Proactive and solutionoriented.
- Strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Empathetic towards the needs of miners families and children in the community.
- Ability to live and work in rural areas with limited infrastructure.
- Willingness to work in challenging conditions and adapt to local customs and practices.
