Position Description Summary
Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a fulltime remote temporary position in its Online Masters level Clinical Mental Health Counseling program beginning Fall 2025. This position requires development and teaching of online/distance courses. In addition faculty will be responsible for maintaining scholarly activity and service for the program university profession and community. The 100 CACREP accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program enables students to become licenseeligible for the counseling profession in many states. The programs primary goal is to prepare students to function independently and successfully as a clinical mental health counselor in a variety of professional settings. An overview of the program can be found here: Based on the specific needs of the department at the time of appointment a successful applicant must be qualified to teach graduate level courses and/or supervise students in field or internship experiences. Duties
Develop and teach core graduate courses in the CMHC program to include online skills courses. Engage in scholarly and professional activities along with attending workshops and meetings consistent with professional and scholarly development. Participate in the admissions process and work cooperatively with the office of admissions to ensure a highquality student body. Perform other university and department duties as expected of all faculty including scholarly activities serving on committees attending meetings and engaging in community service.
