Thoughtfully designed for highly motivated and committed new graduate nurses this is a comprehensive oneyear training programproviding over 350 bedside care hours with an experienced nurse preceptor supported with an additional 100 hours of clinical education immersive training and unique New Grad Seminar workshops. Our rigorous Vizient driven curriculum emphasizes the professional nurse role leadership and patient outcomes and is guided by Watson Caring Science Theory.
Program Requirements:
1 Must be a graduate from an accredited ADN BSN or MSN program. Accredited online programs included.
2 The official graduation transcript date no greater than 18 months from cohort hire/start date.
3 **NO EXCEPTIONS** Must have a current California RN License that can be verified online via the California Board of Registered Nursing by no later than Friday July 11 2025 .
4 Previous Work Experience Must not exceed 6 months full time hours of paid RN work experience (equivalent to 1040 hours)
5 BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required by start date.
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is required by start date.

A Brief OverviewThe Clinical Nurse (CN) is an RN who provides handson care to patients practicing in an evidencebased manner within the Scope of Practice of the California Nursing Practice Act regulatory requirements standards of care and hospital policies. Within that role the CN performs all steps of the nursing process including assessing patients; interpreting data; planning implementing and evaluating care; coordinating care with other providers; and teaching the patient and family the knowledge and skills needed to manage their care and prevent complications. The CN partners with the patients family wherever possible considering all aspects of care to deliver family centered care. As a professional monitors the quality of nursing care provided.
The Clinical Nurse is responsible for his/her own professional development including licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and maintaining current knowledge regarding the assigned patient population.
As a member of the nursing profession the Clinical Nurse contributes to the profession of nursing through such activities as teaching others sharing expertise In unit or hospital.

What you will do- The Helping Role Establishes Therapeutic Relationships:

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $85.77 $85.77 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
