Job Description
EUMETSAT is hiring a Data System Administrator for their offices in Darmstadt Germany.
The role requires support for the maintenance and operation as well as the evolution and enhancement to the ICT Datacentre and Infrastructure services. In particular the role will focus on:
Responsibilities:
Fluency in English
The role requires support for the maintenance and operation as well as the evolution and enhancement to the ICT Datacentre and Infrastructure services. In particular the role will focus on:
- Install in the rack new data centre elements (servers load balancers etc.
- Keep the inventory of the data centre elements up to date
- Decommission retired servers following procedures
- Monitor power consumption
- Plan and coordinate the removal and installation of racks and IT equipment
- Plan and coordinate the installation of new cables in the data centre
- Troubleshoot connectivity issue due to faulty wiring
- Ensure timely response to security audit findings and identified vulnerabilities
Responsibilities:
Fluency in English
- Microsoft Server Administration
- VMware administration
- VMware horizon administration
- Windows 10 Application Packaging with SCCM
- Intune Administration
- Troubleshooting Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- Exam MS220: Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Online
