About Seasonal Coverage Position

We are looking to fill the Seasonal Coverage position which consists of supporting our Preschool program during the summer months. Typically candidates begin anytime between mid May and mid June and remain with us through mid or the end of August. The shift is consistent and will remain the same throughout the time period hired hours to be determined upon hiring. This is perfect for those working in public school settings during the school year or for those who have an Education related major. Candidates must meet the criteria to be Preschool certifiedthis requires having completed a Child Growth and Development college course along with required experience in a group setting with Preschoolers.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting Educators Classrooms and Drivers with daily reoccurring tasks that support the operations of the Program

• Maintaining supervision of children and helping with childrens needs

• Assisting with implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum

• The ability to follow agency policies and demonstrate positive interactions with children

• Willingness to learn new strategies and collaborate with others

• Complete tasks such as attend field trips stock classrooms take children to and from buses assist in supervising playgrounds etc.

• Capable of multi tasking selfdirection and being used in the department/classroom needed which could change daily

• Ensure compliance with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources
