About the Role
We are building a small but impactful engineering team in San Francisco and as our first inhouse Senior FrontEnd Engineer you will play a pivotal role in developing our consumerfacing application.
Youll be responsible for taking ownership of our existing Reactbased codebase building userfriendly interfaces and optimizing the frontend to deliver a smooth experience for patients and caregivers.
As we grow youll have the opportunity to evolve into the FrontEnd Lead mentoring new team members and taking a strategic role in the direction of our frontend systems.
As a Founding Front End Engineer at Manta Cares you will get to:
Serve as the first inhouse frontend engineer working closely with the head of engineering.
Own the React codebase and continue development toward our product launch and beyond.
Build and optimize userfacing features for our consumeroriented application.
Collaborate with the design team to transform wireframes into fully functional user interfaces.
Ensure performance optimization and responsive design across multiple platforms.
Implement best practices in frontend code quality testing and documentation.
Lead efforts in frontend testing and maintaining reliability of the application.
Document frontend systems and contribute to a scalable codebase for future growth.
Yo should have:
5 years of professional frontend development experience
Strong proficiency in React and its ecosystem
Expert knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript HTML5 and CSS3
Experience with responsive design and crossbrowser compatibility
Proven ability to quickly understand and work with existing codebases
Experience taking products from development to production
You might also have experience in:
An eye for product design and an interest in contributing to product discussions.
Experience in healthcare/life sciences tech.
Familiarity with HIPAA or other user data protection regulations.
Experience with state management libraries (e.g. Redux MobX).
Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
