About the Role: Highlands Boating Club and Rentals / Bridge Marina is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee and support our Boating Club Boat rentals boat instruction services facilities in Highlands New Jersey. This role is at the heart of our operations ensuring a smooth and exceptional experience for our guests while supporting and guiding our team.
During the boating season youll coordinate and oversee daily activities to support boating club members rental guests and training students ensuring fleet readiness safety and toptier service. Youll also assist with team development guest relations and operational . In the offseason your focus will shift to system enhancements fleet maintenance marina improvements and guest development efforts aimed at ensuring smooth operations for the subsequent season.
This role offers the best of many worldsa dynamic summer season spent outdoors on the water and a structured projectbased offseason that allows for growth and company development. Primary Responsibilities
Guest & Team Engagement
- Provide care and support to guests and teammates ensuring a safe fun and rewarding experience.
- Communicate with guests to understand current and future needs providing recommendations and solutions to enhance their experience.
- Assist in training and developing team members to align with Bridge Marinas guest service standards.
Operations & Facility Oversight
- Oversee daily weekly and seasonal maintenance safety and administration of our fleet marina facilities and equipment.
- Lead and oversee boat preparation cleaning safety checks launching and dock operations.
- Support and lead general marina operational tasks maintenance projects and seasonal transitions.
- Ensure the marina fleet and facilities remain safe clean organized and operationally effective.
Scheduling & Leadership
- Schedule daily activities and oversee the operations team.
- Lead and support teammates to ensure fast friendly and safe service.
- Guide and direct operational workflows to keep teams and guests moving safely and efficiently.
Process Improvement & Seasonal Strategy
- Assist with improving marina systems and strategies to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee various offseason projects that improve workflows guest services and facility operations for future seasons.
- Identify and implement proactive solutions to operational challenges.

- Available from late April to midOctober including weekends and holidays with typical hours between 8:00 AM 7:00 PM (midweek days off Tuesdays and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday off).
- Flexible transition to a MondayFriday schedule during the offseason midOctoberApril with typical hours of 9:00 AM 5:00 PM and a generous holiday break.
- Boating knowledgefamiliarity with singleengine boats up to 25 feet boating rules and regulations and safe boating practices.
- Techsavvy and adaptable comfortable using software for scheduling sales and communication to streamline operations.
