Gundersen Health System is looking to add a .5 FTE experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to our Express Care Clinic in La Crosse.
Clinics are located within a retail setting supported by a medical assistant onsite during the week to register and room patients as well as the clinician. The focus is primarily management of minor illnesses but affordability ease of access and promotion of health in the community is vital to the mission. Express care does have scheduled vaccinations as well as being responsible for Evisit and Virtual Care (ondemand) visits with that clinicians could be assigned to work in our Express Care clinic or assigned to our virtual care platform.
Clinicians have easy telephone access to Family Medicine collaborating physician for consultation. EPIC is the EHR.
Express Care hours:
Monday Friday 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Weekends and holidays are rotated between all staff with flexibility in scheduling

Must have completed an accredited program and be eligible to obtain a license to practice in our multistate region with no restrictions or limitations.
