Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our opening team as a parttime Guest Services Attendant at Nobu Hotel Toronto.

As the Guest Services Attendant you will be the first point of contact for our guests playing a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience. This position requires a friendly outgoing and helpful individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. The Guest Services Attendant will handle a variety of guestrelated tasks ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guest Assistance:
    • Handle guest requests and inquiries with efficiency and grace.
    • Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally including directions local information and hotel amenities.
    • Assist guests with luggage packages and other belongings.
    • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
    • Provide concierge services such as making reservations arranging transportation and recommending local attractions.
    • Address guest complaints and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Assist guests with checkin/checkout procedures as needed.
  • Valet Parking:
    • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
    • Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles adhering to all traffic regulations and hotel parking procedures.
    • Maintain a clean and organized parking area.
    • Provide guests with clear instructions regarding vehicle retrieval.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
    • Relay messages and information to guests and fellow team members.
    • Maintain a log of guest requests and activities.
  • Other Duties:
    • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
    • Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a guest services role or valet parking role is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.
    • Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
    • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
    • Ability to drive various types of vehicles including manual transmissions(preferred).
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods lift and carry luggage and walk between parking areas.
