Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
Design Manager In Faade design plays a big role as every project will need design inputs from estimation to . This is more relevant in case of projects with bespoke design projects. The design manager will facilitate the sales & teams from initial estimate to final and handover.

Our client is Indias leading Building Materials Company with the largest market share and is one of the largest uPVC and Aluminium Windows & Doors and Facade Manufacturers & suppliers in India. The company has ambitious plans to expand in manufacturing Facades. The company is part of an erstwhile Industrial group acknowledged for its growth transparent work culture and diversity. Established only about a decade ago this company today boasts of sales and service presence in more than 200 cities through twenty sales offices four factories nine Signature Studios more than 100 dealer showrooms and a strong direct sales force of more than 300 executives.

Key Individual Accountabilities :
Strategic :
- Ownership of the entire design life cycle of a project
- Work planning and time estimation
- Design team capacity analysis and planning
- Optimized designs as per project requirement
- Creation of proper BOM for a project for correct estimation
Customer/ External Orientation
- Understand the clients requirement
- Meet the delivery deadlines of design work
- Information flow
- Lead the product design team
- Align organizational need and team & individual growth
- Training
- On time and in full delivery
- Design quality
Internal :
Sales Manufacturing Service/Installation Purchase Estimation
External :
Faade client Faade Consultants
Technical & Behavioral Skills & Knowledge :
- Behavioral: Work under pressure Lead a team to deliver as per requirement
- Functional: Manage day to day work with proper planning for the entire team
Technical:
- Education BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil engineering
- Experience Minimum 15 years experience in Faade design. Exposure in ME preferredRequired.
- Handle bespoke designs of faade systems and related products like Canopy Skylights railings Cladding systems etc.
- Understanding of structural analysis of product/components
- Material properties of different alloys of Aluminium & Steel
- Knowledge of building design codes and international standards
- Handson experience in Faade testing
- ACad 2D & 3D
- Understanding structural needs & calculations
- Good to have
- Knowledge of analysis software like Ecotect Revit & structural analysis SW like STAAD
