Sales Manager Heavy Equipment GTA

Morson is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Equipment Sales team in Concord. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader who thrives in a fastpaced customerfocused environment and has a passion for driving business performance and team success.
The Sales Manager will play a key role in guiding and inspiring the sales team to achieve critical business goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Reporting to the Branch Manager this individual will work closely with regional teams sales operations and corporate functions to foster operational excellence and support strong financial outcomes.
This role also presents a significant growth opportunity with the potential to advance into a Branch Manager position within 18 to 24 months for the right candidate.

What Youll Do:
Champion a culture of safety environmental awareness and healthy work practices
Drive growth and profitability across all product lines and strategic sales offerings
Lead mentor and coach the Equipment Sales and Sales Operations teams to exceed targets
Ensure robust account coverage and territory management to retain and grow the customer base
Analyze sales data and provide insights to guide decisionmaking and improve team outcomes
Manage profit and loss performance through financial analysis reporting and forecasting
Spend approximately 75 of your time in the field with team members and clients
Make sound business decisions that balance stakeholder needs while maintaining high customer satisfaction
Collaborate regionally to align sales initiatives and ensure effective coverage of key accounts

What You Bring:
Postsecondary education preferred with 5 years of experience in sales and leadership within the heavy equipment construction or related sectors
Proven commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and ethical standards
Strong leadership coaching and team development skills
Excellent communication relationshipbuilding and crossfunctional collaboration abilities
Technical knowledge of heavy equipment products and industry solutions
Deep understanding of market conditions business trends and customer dynamics
Solid business acumen and financial literacy to guide strategic decisions
Strong negotiation and influencing skills especially in complex or highvalue scenarios
Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of industry systems such as CAT SIS or DBS is an asset
Willingness to travel across the GTA
Valid drivers license with a clean abstract
