Job Description
You want to operate at the cutting edge of AI leading groundbreaking developments in AI safety and security for global impact. As a SeniorSoftware Engineer at Lakera you have the chance to contribute to and lead efforts across our whole stack whether thats squeezing a few more milliseconds out of our inference pipeline scaling our automatic auto redteaming algorithms to uncover flaws in GPT4 or redesigning our data infrastructure. In all cases your work will play a vital role in ensuring that AI can unleash its best potentialfor good.

Responsibilities
Design and implement Lakeras core product features in close collaboration with the founding team.
Find pragmatic solutions to complex algorithmic problems.
Strike a balance between scalable code design and development speed. Shipping fast is key.
Contribute to shipping new features and improvements to our products.
Scale our existing software stack and algorithms to serve the most demanding usecases.
Help maintain Lakeras DevOps stack to continuously improve our own development practices.
Support the team in establishing a stable high quality and flexible software engineering process.
About you:
6 years of experience or had exceptional impact at the organizational level in developing productionlevel code across a variety of technologies;
Experience in building up or leading teams while contributing to the core tech;
Familiar with production level Python C Golang or another interesting set of programming languages;
Strong sense for product/customer needs;
Enjoy working on a wide range of algorithmic problems and designing efficient software systems;
Frequent contributor to opensource projects and an active participant in opensource communities;
Productive by yourself as you solve abstract problems independently and produce results without constant supervision;
Pragmatism enjoy taking ownership being handson and getting things done while being mindful of our longerterm vision;
Excited about a frontrow seat in a fast growing earlystage company (a rapidly changing often ambiguous and undefined environment);
Interest in AI security.
