Essential Functions and Responsibilities
1. Instructional responsibilities 85: coaches students oneonone; assists in training and mentoring new/undergraduate writing coaches; develops and delivers classroom presentations; researches and completes professional development assignments every semester including developing resources for the Writing Center.
2. Operational responsibilities 15: plans and assists with workshops and events; responds promptly to all communication and submits relevant paperwork in a timely manner; attends writing center meetings as necessary.

Qualifications Credentials and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Current local or residential graduate student at Liberty University.
2. 3.5 GPA.
3. Excellent grammar and writing skills.
4. Welldeveloped communication skills.
5. Computer experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel) Canvas and general technology skills.
6. Ability to multitask.
7. Interacts positively with others.
8. Ability to work well under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. At least one semester of graduate school completed.
2. Tutoring and/or teaching experience.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with individuals from varying educational cultural and social backgrounds.
4. Excellent level of responsibility reliability punctuality and organization.
