At PDS Optical we are committed to delivering exceptional eyewear and outstanding service to our Veterans. Were seeking an experienced optician to join our team as a Travel Optician out of the Evansville IN and help us uphold our mission of providing GREAT Veteran CARE!
Position Details:
- Fulltime core hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM. Travel hours outside of these core hours are required as needed.
- Pay Range:$25$30/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly professional and efficient service to Veterans.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
- Work collaboratively to foster a positive and productive environment.
- Comply with security clearance requirements by successfully passing a background check.
- Travel to various locations as required without exception.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of optician experience.
- ABO Certificationis recommended.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced setting.
- Skilled in fitting adjusting repairing and selling eyewear.
- Proficient in using manual lensometers pupilometers and computers.
- Knowledge of VA benefits and discounts for optical services.
- Dependable selfmotivated and customer focused.
